Is Artificial Intelligence Dangerous?

Well, many got influenced by those Terminator movies like I don't say it is bad but what they show in the movie doesn't happen in reality. it is just a movie, see it like that. And as I said it is dangerous. Well if we keep some restrictions it would not be dangerous. I mean u saw in the movie terminator that giving access to nuclear missiles and all those stuff. Well like that should be in human control.

And also that is not only the cause, it also depends on us (humans). If we show no harm to it, it will show no harm to us. Let me explain with a example, You are standing in front of a mirror and if I laugh at it, it will do the same, if we are angry at it, it will be angry at you. Same goes to AI, it is a computer, So the big problem is we humans are different, so some may use it for good purpose or some may use it for bad purpose. There is a chance of AI going rogue.

Another point is even if we somehow attained conscious AI then it knows that the creator has the right to deactivate the robot. So it may kill him. Then if we keep a microbot ( idea from I,Robot movie) fixed near the brain then even if it breaks the instructions then the microbots will eat it's brain.

Another point is we don't know how it behaves so we can say it for granted that it will destroy the world. Nah, it's not gonna happen. Don't freak out!!.

Another is losing of jobs. Well with the implementation of AI in the future will make some of the people jobless but not many. AI will replace some of the jobs but not all of it. Like Driverless cars, Cashierless payments. Even Waiters, chefs etc will also be replaced.

So even if the odds are like this, the advantages are way too good. One of them is This is my own idea, let me know in the comments if it is nice. We know that Covid -19 is infecting faster. So from now on we must work smarter. Governments around the world should use robots for the pandemics yet to come. And also the development of AI, which is now helping to tackle Covid -19 for the devlopment of vaccine. So even if any pandemic comes in the near future, we can easily withstand. Work from home will be a good idea and must continue. With robots working during the pandemic our economy would be in good position instead of dropping down. We have seen the usage of Drones for food deliveries which makes no contact with any human and only the customer.

So I am gonna conclude that implementing Artificial Intelligence in non-Dangerous things instead of military would be a good idea. and doesn't make it "dangerous"
